BDA Horizons is the BDA network's organization in Morocco and North Africa. It deploys a model proven in Africa for more than fifteen years: training ecopreneurs, building value chains from local biodiversity and connecting them to markets. Recognized by the United Nations and the Francophonie, this model relies on training, processing and quality-control infrastructure.

A unique natural capital, still little valued locally
Morocco is home to some 7,000 plant species, nearly 20% of them endemic. This capital is often exported in bulk, little processed locally and overexploited for lack of structured value chains. In rural areas, the result is youth unemployment, the economic exclusion of women, rural exodus and the loss of traditional knowledge.
